How bright is The Ultralite?
The Ultralite delivers over 1700 lumens of professional-grade brightness—powerful enough for vlogs, product shots, interviews, and live streams. Keep in mind, as the battery diminishes, so does the brightness (this is a feature of the product to keep heat down).
Can I adjust the color temperature?
Yes! You can switch between warm (3300K) and cool (5800K) tones to match your environment and create the perfect lighting.
Why is it shaped like a U?
The U is for two reasons:
1. For hot-shoe freedom (cameras). This means you can use a microphone with the UltraLite, making it the only portable device that supports both. A circle (or ring) restricts this because it gets in the way.
2. The UltraLite is the same shape as your face. Oftentimes, a big round ring light can leave weird shadows.
How long does the battery last?
The built-in rechargeable battery lasts up to 1 hour on full brightness. Full brightness is 1700 lumens (really bright). If you use it at half it's power potential, then it will shine for over an hour and half.
But you can plug it in, and use it at the same time it's charging.
How big and heavy is it?
It's not. The UltraLite is compact and lightweight, designed for portability. It easily fits in your bag, so you can take it anywhere. It also comes with a sleek travel case.
It weighs about 1.5 lbs.
Is it better than a ring light?
Unlike ring lights, The Ultralite offers adjustable angles, pro-grade brightness, and warm-to-cool tones, giving you complete control over your lighting.
The UltraLite also works with phones and cameras, so you can use it as a webcam, for tutorials, or for anything else.
The biggest thing is the shape of the UltraLite allows for top mount hot shoe freedom so you can use a microphone at the same time.
Does it come with a warranty?
Yes! We offer a one-year warranty and a 30-day return window—if you’re not happy, return it for a full refund, but MAKE SURE you register the product (UltraLite has to be registered to qualify).
Can I use it while charging?
Yes! You can use The Ultralite while it’s plugged in, but keep in mind, at full brightness, the Ultralite will drain more power than its charge; this is a feature to keep heat down (it doesn't get hot).
What devices does UltraLite work with?
It works with all cameras, phones, and tripods—the only light that does!
How long does shipping take?
