Who Is It For?
YouTubers, TikTokers, vloggers, and anyone filming on the go: phone creators, camera shooters, makeup artists, food and fitness creators, coaches, and real estate agents. If you shoot in more than one place or with more than one device, this is built for you.
Not ideal for: all-day studio setups running 4–8 hours straight. A plugged-in panel is the better fit there, but the UltraLite does work plugged in at 500 lumens.

I used to pack a ring light for travel, but this one is way easier to throw in my bag and just go. Super bright too.
Switching from phone to cam is genius. I can make Reels on my phone, then use the same light on my camera without rebuilding everything.
Been following the family and Justin for years, so I figured I’d give it a try. Didn’t expect it to be this awesome!
This thing is awesome! So glad I purchased
It’s small enough to bring everywhere, which means I actually use it lol My content looks better even when I’m shooting in random hotel rooms.

This is a game-changer for content creators...a must have!
I love it, just wish the battery lasted a bit longer.
My Mom showed me this from FB - she followed them. It's been a game changer for wedding photography! So good at night for hard to reach places.
Very easy to use and looking forward to future versions where it works better plugged in.
I make videos with whatever device is closest, so having one light that works across all of them is huge. No more swapping mounts or messing with a big ring light.

Invented By A Creator, For Creators
Hi, I'm Justin McClure, and I created the UltraLite out of necessity. I needed a light that worked with any device while keeping the camera hot-shoe free, but nothing like it existed, so I invented it...securing 2 patents for design and utility.

FAQs
Compatibility
Which phones does it fit?
Every iPhone and most standard Android phones. Very thick or rugged cases may need to come off for a secure grip. Some foldables may not fit when unfolded.
Which cameras does it fit?
Point-and-shoot, mirrorless, DSLR, and camcorders, using the adjustable camera plate.
Does it fit my tripod or selfie stick?
Yes, if it uses a standard 1/4" screw, which almost all do.
Can I still use a mic with a camera?
Yes. The U-shape mounts below the camera, so the top mount stays free. Each arm also has a cold shoe for mic receivers or small accessories.
Can I go shoot vertical, horizontal, or selfie?
Yes, all three. Just modify the mobile adapter.
Features
How bright is it?
Up to 1,700 lumens, dimmable from 5–100%.
Can I change the color?
Yes, from warm 3,300K to daylight 5,800K.
What is CRI 97?
A measure of how accurately light shows color. At 97, skin, makeup, and products look closer to real life on camera.
Is there a diffuser?
Yes, built in and removable.
Do I need an app?
No. One button turns it on, and a side dial adjusts brightness and color. Kept it simple on purpose.
Battery and power
How long does the battery last?
About an hour at 100%, about 1 hr 45 min at 50%, and 2+ hours at around 30%.Plug it in and use all day at 500 lumens.
How long does it take to charge?
About 75 minutes from empty
Can I use it while it's plugged in?
Yes, via USB-C. At full brightness it can use power faster than it charges, but you can use all day at 500 lumens (plugged in).
Do I need an adapter for the UltraLite?
No, it screws directly on. Use the screw and knob to tighten down.
Travel and durability
Is it good for travel?
Yes. It's about 1.5 lb and comes with a protective case for the light.
Is it waterproof?
No. Keep it out of the rain. Also, don't drop it.
Can I use it for all-day studio shoots?
It's built for shooting on the move. For 4–8 hours of continuous use, a plugged-in studio panel is a better fit.
