Will it work with my camera?
The Vlog Mic works with any DSLR and mirrorless cameras equipped with a 3.5mm microphone input (all cameras have this)
Does it need batteries or charging?
No. Simply connect it to your camera and start recording - no batteries, charging, or power switch required.
Does it work with the UltraLite?
Yes. Slide the Vlog Mic’s mount directly into the UltraLite’s cold shoe, tighten it in place, and connect the cable to your camera.
Together, they create a compact lighting and audio setup that’s ready for travel, interviews, and everyday filming.
It reduces wind and works outdoors?
Yes. The included windscreen helps reduce wind noise, making it ideal for travel videos, interviews, and filming on the move.
The included shock mount helps isolate the microphone from vibrations and movement caused while filming.

Hi, I'm Justin McClure, and I created the UltraLite out of necessity. I needed a light that worked with any device while keeping the camera hot-shoe free, but nothing like it existed, so I invented it...securing 2 patents for design and utility.
